ABOUT THE ARTISAN
Casa Motta's founder Alessandro Motta started experimenting with making mozzarella when he was 14. It took five years of dedicated work until he produced a worthy fresh cheese. Alessandro's goal is simple: fermenting and stretching "pasta filata" the traditional Italian way, rigorously using Queensland cow or buffalo milk.
Alessandro has been making his beloved mozzarella for over ten years now, making this unique fresh cheese available to local consumers.
